Artek began wokring with his father, Warden of the Dakota Mine, [[Arikarok Deram]] on 8-2 3 TT.

=== Dakota Mine collapse ===
On 17-2 8 PC the [[Andu]] in the mine began a revolt and took Artek and several others hostage. Rather than listening to the Andu's demands, Arikarok led an assault against them and was killed. Artek's brother, [[Karika Deram]] detonated explosives around the mine collapsing it and killing all inside including Artek.
