 Listed here are the major rivers and tributaries of the island of [[La Rossa]]. The rivers are listed in the table below ordered clockwise, respective to their entry into sea. Notes on their current and historical role as well as the etymology of their names has also been listed for select examples. Throughout most of La Rossa's earliest history, settlements have traditionally sprung up along the banks of rivers, as people shifted from a nomadic towards a sedentary lifestyle. The longest river in La Rossa is the river Lombiera, which springs from underneath [[Mount Montesuvia]] and flows to the southern coast of the island, spanning the length of approximately 325 kilometers. The river splits off at the city of Sterino, forming two distributaries that eventually merge together, forming a river island. Both streams of the river are considered to be part of the river, although this leads to differing measurements of length.
