			On [[38 PC]] it was announced that at the age of 65 Elder Pelip had shown signs of mental deterioration with age. Out of respect and due being unable to in good faith receive his consent, Elder Pelip never retired, instead ruling ceremonially until his death in [[48 PC]] when he was succeeded by his eldest song [[Nin-Sokyu Undo]].
