			The district of Portside was established by President of Brenjia [[Jecomfi Iri-Jili]] in 230 TT as part of an attempt to investigate the uncalm seas. According to folklore, it was theorised that the sea would become calm if a port were built in it, based on the fact that rivers were calm and had ports in them. The Portside ports completed their construction in 210 TT. To the disappointment of many scholars, the seas did not calm immediately as a result.
