The Lt. President of Utlia is the second in command in the Utlia Government, under only the President. The current Lt. Pres is Sern Bes.
Background
The Lt. President as a role was established in the aftermath of the Utlian Civil War, as a fail-safe incase of the death of the president. Votan Lainya was the first to take the role.
Powers
Though primarily created as a backup president in case of tragedy, the Lt. President still has many powers as the second in command. The main job of the Lt. Pres is to manage and preside over the Lower Cabinet, making sure the primary organ of lawmaking in Utlia is working properly.
