The Niueyjara UFO was an unexplained floating object previously identified as a balloon.

History

The object was first seen on 22-3 9 PC, flying over the western coast of Niueyjar. The object was reported to be moving closer to Niueyjar on 26-3 9 PC. The Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN) identified the object it was a balloon on 28-3 9 PC. On 2-4 9 PC, Council Head of the Council of Directors of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CODCNN), Heidr Gullveigdaughter asked Living King, Harakar Oken to give the CNN some missiles for use against the missile. Harakar declined this request.

It was falsely reported on 22-8 10 PC that the CNN planned to send a bird with a camera up to the object.

The object was found to be made of metal and reidentified as an unexplained floating object (UFO) on 10-6 11 PC. The news caused riots in the CNN.

On 15-6 11 PC, the CODCNN announced Operation Balloon Grab to retrieve the UFO and bring it to a secure lab in Faltir for further study. On the same day the Kingdom of Tietero launched a counter-plan to identify the UFO as a flying object, therefore making the UFO cease to exist.

Operation Balloon Grab was declared a complete success on 5-7 11 PC with the object being sent to a lab in Faltir.

On 26-8 11 PC the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar Department of Sciences (CNNDS) announced that they discovered a theoretical application for the UFO. On 30-10 11 PC, the CNNDS declared that their experiments with the UFO had been a huge success. On 20-12 11 PC the CNNDS found a way to increase the power of the UFO's floatation effect using a technique involving the strange machinery left in the wake of Faltir's depopulation. Plans to use the technique on Confederation began being drawn out shortly after.
