The remaining population is mostly made up of Fishermen, most of whom do not have a permanent home. The Dzeyyal make up the remaining 4 thousand.

Geography
Most of the island's western half is covered by a dense forest, the eastern half is less forested, due to being more heavily populated. In the west a low mountain chain runs from the north to the south of the island, making it hard to travel through the center of the island, as such most travels happen by sea or along the coast.
