Goyhalna (Hapšâw'l pronunciation: [ɣɔj.al'na]) is the second largest city on the island of Hapšâw, and the capital of the Kingdom of Goyhalna. Due to influence from other nations (most notably Deysachin) it has begun industrialization.
History
Founded in 173 TT by Kapahapšâw, Goyhalna was meant to be a second center for Kapahapšâw's Kingdom due to the long communication times between the city of Tokšahalna and the western coast of the island, partly due to the mountain range separating them. After the death of Kapahapšâw and the resulting collapse of the kingdom western settlements were cut off from Tokšahalna for some time. During that period Goyhalna was the region's economic heart. After routes between the kingdoms were restored Goyhalna retained it's importance.
After Ragašol's putsch in 48 PC, and the journey to Melotir in 49 PC the kingdom grew in size significantly, starting as a small city state in 49 PC it first took control of several small towns in it's area in 51 PC. This caused a small conflict with the Kingdom of Tokšahalna, which caused the expansion to stop until 53 PC, when Ragašol and Ĥakaranêy met and agreed on the nations new borders, now taking up roughly ⅓ of the island. Still, due to Hapšâw's low population density the majority of the kingdom's population is concentrated in the city.
In modern times Goyhalna serves as an important port and economic center, as well as the capital to the kingdom, it is provided with electricity by the Deysachin-owned power plant located south of the city. It is currently industrializing, with several factories standing in the city. A large, 10 story library building called the Habžil'l Yamitân begun construction in 52 PC, and is expected to be completed between 59 and 67 PC.
