The Taaqbal are one of the primary ethnic groups of Okrit. They are closely related to their neighbours and historical rivals the Efiyye, and reside primarily in the provinces of Central Waaq, Nairo, Ibok, Binon, East Taaqba, Taaqbal federation and Matsuk.

The Taaqbal are historical rivals with the Efiyye, despite their close linguistic & cultural ties.
