It was originally called the Diocese of Cah-Sie'e, until being split in 44 PC, with the eastern half being organized into the Diocese of Berryn'dje. In 45 PC, the Treaty of Naolvcrishtava was signed, redividing the border between Wesia and Berryn'dje.
