Salino is a city-province in the Republic of La Rossa. Located on the south-eastern coast of the island, its surrounding geography is defined by the salt-rich Montesuvian mountains, the mineral being its namesake. It is the second-most populous city in the nation, with a population of 1,360,000. The southern coast, which includes the neighboring city of Padeno, comprises more than half of the nation's population.
