The Kel-Elemi Amirind ameerend, is the official currency of the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic. They were introduced centuries before Kel-Elemi Unification as a symbol of trade. Until the introduction of the Amirind, silver, jade and gold were the most common currencies used by merchants in Kel-Elemi.

During the Seireimeiko, political instability caused the Ameerend to lose 99% of their value.
