The Confederated Nations of Niueyjar Department of Sciences (CNNDS) is a branch of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar's government responsible for scientific research.

Following the success of Operation Balloon Grab on 5-7 11 PC, the CNNDS began running tests on the Niueyjara UFO. On 26-8 11 PC, the CNNDS announced that they discovered a theoretical application for the UFO. On 30-10 11 PC, the CNNDS declared that their experiments with the UFO had been a huge success. On 20-12 11 PC the CNNDS found a way to increase the power of the UFO's floatation effect using a technique involving the strange machinery left in the wake of Faltir's depopulation.
