The Long One was said to be around half the circumfrence of Akaria long and covered in hundreds of geysers. The geysers on its back were the origin of weather and that it was forced to constantly swim around Akaria because if it were to come onto land it would blanket the land in the same storm that covered the sea, which it also created. |

The snakes that inhabit Akaria are said to be the children of the Long One as they are used to predict the weather via the [[snake jar]]. |

The Long One is one of many spirits reviled in Mirroi.
The Long One is mentioned in various versions of the Karinian Bakoro. It claims that shotly after Kadar's death the Long One began a campaing to kill Kadar's lineage and free the King of the Spirits from captivity
