The Nes people are a Faltiran ethnic group indigenous to Northern Faltir who share a common language, culture, and history. There are roughly 800 thousand Nes people in the Empire of Faltir, particularly in the Confederation of Glanes, where they make up over 80% of the Population. The Nes speak Nestus and the majority follow the religion of Laykohism.
Subgroups
- The Swamp Nes (Nestus: Nes Steno) are the descendants of multiple clans who fled to the Great Bog in 223 AL to avoid persecution at the hands of the 2nd Aryh Empire. Today there are around 20 thousand Swamp Nes, comprising three tribes, living in the province of Laa Ste, in the Confederation of Glanes.
