Salino is a city-province in the Republic of La Rossa. Located on the south-eastern coast of the island, its surrounding geography is defined by the salt-rich Montesuvian mountains, the mineral being its namesake. The second-most populous city in the nation, with a population of 162,000, along with neighboring Padeno, the largest city on the island, it comprises more than half of the nation's population.
