Biography

Early life

Wynlid was born sometime in 1140 TT, to a Eutan family in what is now North Utlia.

Rise to power

On 4-7 1102 Wynlid Liamia and Shaen eien, the kings of the Eutan Kingdom and the Frishen Kingdom respectively, met at a site near the Balmor river and signed a declaration of unification, merging the two into one kingdom, known as Utlia. This moment has long been mainly attributed to Wynlid but in recent years, modern Utlian historians have began to recognize the importance of the Frishens in the agreement.

Death

it is unknown the exact time of death but Wynlid's body was found not long after he died of natural causes in 1060 TT

-We know that as an adult Wynlid would unite tribes using a tactic he had come up with. This tactic involved amalgamating the tribes by simply asking if they wanted to join, if they accepted they were happily brought into the community. If they say no, Wynlid's men torched and slaughtered the tribe camps. Few tribes fought back, those that do would only hurt themselves. The only notable adversary was a large tribe led by a man named [[Lanea Brut]]. Eventually most of Utlia was under the unified banner of Wynlid's rule. Once he was satisfied he established the kingdom of Utlia on 4-5 1095, making himself the first ruler.
