It is the fourth largest island in the Attu Archipelago.

History

The island of eee was first inhabited by the Letabs, who have inhabited the south-west for at least 4000 years. They originated in modern-day Letabtebel and inhabited the surrounding hills, spanning west into Ego. Until the Plateauing in 748 TT, the Letabtebel Letabs and the Ego Letabs were linguistically and culturally separate.
