Gargans

The Gargans are a sentient race of humanoids native to Seaitean. They are made of rock/rock-like material originating from the cave networks below the central mountains of Seaitean. They are created through a scientific ritual rather than through biological means. The average Gargan is a roughly 7 to 8 feet tall bipedal being with distinct limbs, including 2 arms and a head, and they can live for roughly 200 years, with some notable exceptions. Each Gargan is powered by an internal “battery” that uses geothermal energy stored within a crystal structure, which is itself contained inside the stone “chest” area of the individual. Gargans can and do “recharge” using geothermal vents inside their cave systems, with their “death” usually being due the natural decay of the crystals over their lifespan. The first of the Gargan were more than likely created through almost impossible combinations of seismic activity, the heat energy from geothermal sources, pressure within the island’s internal structures, and luck.
The Gargans follow a primary religion known as “the Pebble" or "pebbleism," where the primary messaging is that every Gargan, while individual, is part of a larger collection. The origins of this following is unknown, but there are three main schools of thought concerning teachings.
