Early life

His father Ogokot, was the leader of the Kakay Tribal Group and was considered to be a close ally of Kamore and the Deram Tribal Group. His mother, Jamok, was from the Deram Tribal Group and was a daughter of Karkon Deram who would succeed his father as Living King.
Around 1602 TT the Durantum Perikat decided that Toghon would succeed Karkon Deram as Living King. On 13-2 1601 TT Toghon began being educated in the Weer Nation at the request of Karkon Deram. Following the completion of his education Toghon remained in the Weer Nation until Karkom's death on 2-1 1591 TT when he was summoned to Ablesken to serve as Living King.
