Facial features

Kalami people are most often defined by their bushy eyebrows with sharp ends along with broad, bulbous noses. Likely their most striking feature at first glance, Kalami eyes appear x-shaped due to a strange deformation pattern in their pupils, akin to coloboma, though wholly unexplained.

Hair

Under natural circumstances, Kalami people will always have black hair, though it can range from thick and short to thin and long. Kalami people tend to style their hair depending on gender, with men either tying their hair in several tails or shaving it into a short military style.

Skin

Kalami people have skin tones ranging from a dark and rich chestnut color to a brighter yet colorful beige. Some Kalami make use of scarring on their flesh as a symbol of their warrior status or religious devotion.

Utlia

Facial features

Within Utlian people, the most common facial archetypes include round faces, upturned noses, somewhat large eyes and thick eyebrows.

Hair

Utlian people have black and brown hair, with brown hair being slightly more common than black. Hair color also depends on the region of Utlia itself, in the northern provinces brown hair is more prevalent as opposed to black hairs prominence in the south. Like many things in Utlian culture, hairstyles are not typically associated with a specific gender.
