First Era of Progress

Beginning in 7,749 TT, the Gargan Civilization started a series of massive scientific and cultural advancements. 213 years after the creation of the Gargan language and 171 after the schism that formed the Followers of the Quake, this leap forwards led to the creation of large-scale magma farming, crystal tweaking and fortifying, further development of the neo-mythos of the "Shard" held by the Followers of the Quake, and a focus on art in the form of tablet scribing and statue carving.
