Yerant Liamia

Yerant Liamia was the 10th Utyr of Unified Utlia and the third Utyr in the Pestilent Four. Yerant was five when his cousin, Raktyn Liamia was murdered and the Wyckryn council established young Yerant as Utyr. Yerant would reign from 800 to 740 TT.

Yerant is most known in contemporary Utlia for his belief in the healing properties of bats and other winged creatures.

Biography and Rule

Yerant Liamia was born on 14-2 745 TT at the Kelna-Ut Liamia Wyckryn. Yerants mother was Neyyer Liamia, a popular singer in unified Utlia. Neyyer belonged to a branch of the Liamia family descending from Swinn and Syeren Liamia, who would pass the rule down to firstborn Erynt. Yerants father was a skeralist and assistant for Neyyer named Suteyek. Yerant spent much of his early life with no permanent home, wandering with his parents between erenka venues. Young Yerant would spend most of his time with a traveling tutor hired by his parents to educate Yerant.

In 740 TT, following the sudden death of Raktyn Liamia, the childless Utyr, Yerant and his parents were called to Tinlea for an emergency council session at the primary Liamia wyckryn.
