Biography

Early life

Chomort Perat was born in Perisken, Kingdom of Akaria. At the time of his birth, his grandfather Tamok was the Leader of the Perat. Chomort served as the Scribe to the Living King between his 20th birthday and 26-7 1041 TT when his father became Leader of the Perat. Chomort became Leader of the Perat on 20-1 1030 TT, three days after his father's death.

7th Living Election

Living King Amkoi Deram's death on 17-10 1002 TT triggered the 7th Living Election. Prior to the election the Deram, the Perat and their other political allies had decided that a non-Deram should be named Living King. Chomort was selected due to being a nephew of Amkoi and was elected on 22-10 1002 TT.
