Chimicalion is a Rossan multinational pharmaceutical company founded in 62 PC. Started by Regorio Brici and Pietro Frattuno following their discovery of Opulilum, the active compound of the Opulila plant, it has attracted hundreds of millions of argottos in investment and has quickly become the leading pharmaceutical producer in the Republic of La Rossa, receiving private and government backing. The company, which was created in an environment of very small domestic production and rising pharmaceutical imports, quickly swept the Rossan market, as the government of La Rossa invested great amounts into its start-up, allowing its goods to be greatly subsidized for consumers. The company has fallen to criticism for profiting off recreational drug use, which has slowly become a rising problem as hospitalizations and deaths from overdoses have become more common. La Rossa has few laws in place surrounding drug use, as pharmaceuticals on a large-scale only recently made a presence.

Products

Opulilum was the first pharmaceutical product sold by the company, having been invented months before by its two founders, doctors Regorio Brici and Pietro Frattuno. The drug, proving itself incredibly potent and relatively cheap to extract and manufacture with proper infrastructure, became widespread as a miracle drug, capable of relieving almost any pain and anaesthesizing during operations. Extracted from the Opulila plant, the plant's leaves have for centuries prior been used by Montagneri both practically and recreationally. The discovery was followed by a flow of investment that quickly propped the company up into an industry giant, allowing its recruitment of hundreds of researchers for the development of further products. Following several cases of overdoses and an investigation by the government, the company would create the less potent Opilon, which was quickly approved by the government. More recently, it has also began producing industrial chemicals.

The following is a list of the Chimicalion company's top selling pharmaceutical products.

• Opulilum - A potent anaesthetic and pain-killer, sold in characteristic purple packaging. Has a quick but lasting numbing effect on the localized area after injection. It is also sold in pills, which can relieve strong headaches and muscle pain. It can be highly addictive with prolonged use, however, and higher doses can cause side-effects leading to hospitalization or death.
• Opilon - A less potent chemical variant of Opulilum which was produced following several cases of overdose. Capable of achieving mostly the same effects, just at much higher doses. It is more expensive to use Opilon to achieve the same effective treatment, and so it has not seen much use beyond treating headaches, for which it has found a large market.
• Libera - A birth-control pill, approved for the prevention of pregnancy by the government of La Rossa. Works by inhibiting ovulation and supressing the menstrual cycle. It has seen great popularity since being placed on the market, especially so following the infamous Ti rende Libera advertisment campaign.
• Euforium - Stimulant. Boosts thinking and improves mood. Although sometimes prescribed, it is highly addictive, and often used recreationally. Following addiction, it has been noticed that its effects greatly diminish.
• Sottilon - Diet drug and stimulant. Greatly addictive, and has frequently been noticed to bring users to unhealthily low body weights.
