Koahan is a major deity in Makaist mythology. It is an androgynous god representing rain, storms, floods, dew and othersuch things.
Attributes
Koahan often described as the spirit or messenger of the godess Hineko, and is depicted as a winged or feathered scorpion, but it is also treated as an independent mythological creature with its own volition.
Ritual
In ritual Koahan is represented with dried scorpion carcasses and lamps. Statuettes of Koahan are typically carved as a pouncing scorpion painted black and cyan to represent both fire and androgyny.
