Wuray Maka

The Wuray Maka is the name given to the creation myth of Makaism. According to this myth, the world began as a formless expanse of infinite spirits. From the spirits emerged a singular entity named Maka. Makaism teaches that Maka is the consciousness born of the fundamental forces of the world, the avatar of the universe.

Recognizing the boundless chaos of the universe, Maka resolved to bring order and structure to it. Maka would first create a physical body from simple thought, then use use its hands to grasp at the void, creating space beyond itself. Maka would use its hands to separate time into linear sections which would facilitate our understanding of it.

When Maka was satisfied, it gifted its soul back to the eternal expanse, and gave its body to the world.

Makamaka

From Maka's skull would emerge two beings, Maka-Sarmi (Maka the woman) and Maka-Qaru (Maka the man) while the rest of it's body formed the Earth. The skull's twins would use Maka's remaining flesh to sculpt the Earth, using Maka's pure blood to flood the world with water, therefore bringing life to it. Maka-Qaru would make sure to look over Maka's body by splitting into two parts, Maka-Qaru would watch their bodies from a great in the sky, the sun, which contains one of his eye's at its core would survey Earth in the daytime. His other eye would remain within a great rock, the moon which would survey Earth trough the night while his second eye rested.

Maka-Qaru took it upon herself to protect her creation, she is seen as a protector of human spirits, being embodied by the moon.
