Biography
Early life
Amilate Oken was born in Amoskar to Donkar Oken and Mantok Oken.
Amoskar Fishing Company
On 8-11 60 TT, Amilate, with the aproval of the Oceanic Council, established the Amoskar Fishing Company (AFC), in the Weer Kadrike. At the time of its creation the AFC opperated a fleet of six swamp trawlers.
Ambassador to the Weer
Amilate became quite renown for striking deals with the Weer and on 20-6 48 TT, Arakar Oken made her the Oken Ambassador to the Weer so that she could strike deals on the behalf of the Oken.
OE Supply shop
Amilate's nephew Johnakar Oken moved to the town of Adazete shortly after graduating from the 1st Oken Business School. On 17-12 47 TT, Johnakar, his brother Kazant and Amilate established the Oken-Adazete Supply Shop, with Amilate purchasing the land for the shop and receiving a third ownership in the company.
2nd Oken Election
Arakar Oken died on 4-2 41 TT, triggering the 2nd Oken Election. During said election Amilate used her five votes to to vote for herself and convinced her husband Kazar Oken to use his fifteen votes on her. The election ended on 4-4 41 TT with Arakar's son, Adar Oken being elected.
Sale of the Oken-Adazete Supply Shop
By 40 TT the Oken-Adazete Supply Shop, now often called the OA Supply Shop had locations in every major town in the Ald Okenate. Johnakar bought Amilate share of the company on 18-3 39 TT.
3rd Oken Election
Adar Oken died on 12-8 34 TT, triggering the 3rd Oken Election. During said election Amilate once again used her five votes to to vote for herself and convinced her husband Kazar Oken to use his fifteen votes on her. She also convinced Lakar Oken to use her fifteen votes on her. Despite this Amilate still lost to Adar's sone Kazant Oken.
4th Oken Election
Kazant died on 24-8 29 TT triggering the 4th Oken Election.
On 25-9 29 TT Johnakar gave Amilate half of his factories in Oksken in exchange for her five votes and Kazar's fifteen.
The election concluded on 24-10 29 TT with Johnakar victorious.
Death
Amilate Oken died on 9-3 10 TT. In her will, she gave an electoral vote each to her sons Donkazar Oken and Kazamila Oken and three votes to Motara Oken.
