Ase Aswaite (490-440 TT) was an inventor who lived in the Cajia Kingdom. Aswaite is best known as the inventor of the Aswaiteri, a precision timepiece which was instrumental in the kingdom's industrialisation.
Biography
In 490 TT, Ase Aswaite was born in Canebrija, a city in modern-day Yecha, but which was at the time part of the Gechen Province of the Cajia Kingdom. Therein he worked as a pendulum-maker until 464 TT when he moved to Bariyesa after a famine in Canebrija. In Bariyesa, he established the Aswaite Workshop to research new methods of making pendulums. At this workshop, he invented several pendulum-related devices, most notably the Aswaiteri around 450 TT. Ase Aswaite died of mercury fume inhalation in 440 TT.
