The Battle of East Faltir was fought during the Eastern Bloc-Niueyjar War.
Background
In late 7 PC the population of Faltir disappeared in an event known as the Great Exodus. Faltir's closest ally, the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN) began occupying the island on 16-12 7 PC.
In 18 PC, during the Eastern Bloc-Niueyjar War, the Eastern Bloc deemed the CNN's occupation of Faltir forces to be a threat as the eastern coast of Faltir was only a few kilometres away from eee and could be used as a launching point for an invasion of the island.
Invasion
The Republic of Utlia led the Eastern Bloc in their invasion of Res Striltir and Ard Striltir on 3-11 18 PC. In response the CNN sent the 5th Confederated Nations of Niueyjar Territorial Defence Force to reinforce Faltir.
Utlian forces captured Khosi –the capital of Ard Striltir– on 4-11.
The 5th Confederated Nations of Niueyjar Territorial Defence Force arrived on Faltir on 3-1 19 PC to reenforce the small garison on the island.
The CNN's 3rd Fleet left port on 10-12 19 PC, with a full troop compliment. Living King, Harakar Oken, assumed they were going to be used to mount a landing of the Eastern Bloc-occupied portions of Faltir and ordered the Akarian forces their to the coast. The Eastern Bloc then began fortifying their Faltiran positions. The following day the CNN announced that they were planning to attack the Eastern Bloc position in Faltir. The landings on Faltir never came with the 3rd Fleet instead landing in Haute eee on 14-12.
