The Deysachni Calendar is a form of timekeeping wherein years are delineated not through regular progression but by manual declaration by the God of Time (as well as everything else, and a few other thing), Modhes Ywl. The months of the Deysachni Calendar are determined on a provincial baisis. Deysachni uphold this calender as superior, saying that it makes more sense because in the other system, years would be apoetic, containing inconsistant amounts and sequences of events.
