Dhaadhaag is a high quality restaurant located in southwestern Goyhalna, It is commonly regarded as the most luxurious dining place on Hapšâw. It offers both Hapšâw'l and international cuisine, as well as a wide array of alcohol and live music.
History
Dhaadhaag was established in 58 PC by Liral VaTigzi. VaTigzi is not a modhes man, when asked he stated that he chose the name to match the restaurants exotic menu, as well as to seem inviting to the Deysachni population of Goyhalna. By 62 PC the restaurant had become well known, and in 66 PC the building was expanded, adding the mezzanine and installing electric speakers at the stage, as well as adding the now iconic glass roof. In 71 PC VaTigzi handed the task of managing the restaurant to his eldest daughter, VaTigzil Yama. He has since moved to NilYuwl to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a smaller town.
Description
It is located in a large, hexagonal building near the shore, immediately left of the entry door is the coatroom, where clients may deposit their outside clothes for a small fee. The kitchen is located opposite of the door, with the stage being placed in the middle of the room. Next to the coatroom are the stairs to the mezzanine, which is only available to the members of the Dhaagdhaag Social Club. A manually operated elevator connects the mezzanine with the ground floor, but it is not intended for human use, instead being used to move food and empty plates between the floors so that waiters don't need to ascend the stairs as often. The walls of the establishment are painted a pale orange color, with white patterns branching out from the building's corners. The roof is made out of large glass panels, which extend to the walls of the mezzanine, giving an excellent view of the sea to those sitting next to them.
The bands are chosen by the manager and typically perform for 12 days before switching. Many of the bands featured by Dhaadhaag have since become rather popular, such as Tsâl, Piril Votsi or Wikši. Some regulars claim that since Yama became manager the bands chosen have been of lower quality, playing louder and simpler music, though many seem to not mind the change.
