Eldribant is the capital of and largest city in Idrstras.
Etymology
Eldibant is named after Eldib The Great, Emperor of Ash. Folk legend claims that he was the founder of the city, however this is considered unlikely by historians, as the Eldiby region was not deforested until two hundred years after his death. More likely, it had been named by a later descendant of his, in posthumous honor. It has also however been theorized that Eldib may have founded a different settlment called Eldibant, which the current one is named after, as there are records listing several settlements by the name through the 9th-3rd centuries.
