The Great Exile (Aryhtus: Glo Aks’r) was a period from late 7 PC to mid 20 PC during which the Faltiran people had vanished and the island was occupied by the CNN. The precise cause is unknown, and remains a subject of debate, but most believe it was the result of magic or advanced technology. The Faltiran people showed no signs of having aged throughout the 13 year long period, and there is no evidence that it negatively impacted their health.

While accounts of the exile from the Faltirans perspectives vary wildly, and are generally regarded as untrustworthy, nearly all accounts have a few events in common that are accepted as factual. The most notable of these is that there was some sort of civil conflict, during which the leader of the UAE, Aer-Friar, was killed.

The event was known as the Great Exodus prior to the return of the Faltirans and the event of their return is known as the Great Return.

Timeline

Lead up to the exile

On 4-11 7 PC many immigrants living in Faltir were deported and Faltirans living off the island began to make their way back to Faltir. All radio signals coming from Faltir stopped. Non-Faltiran ships that came near Faltir were turned away. On 4-12 7 PC a single signal came from faltir, it’s exact source unknown, and it’s unclear if the message was some unknown language, highly encrypted message, or just nonsense. The message played for precisely one hour, and then stopped and Faltir was silent once more.'

Discovery of the exile

Ships approaching Faltir were no longer turned away, and those that went to shore found that all the Faltirans were gone, showed every sign of a thriving civilization, except people. Everything was seemingly left as it was, undisturbed. There were no signs of struggle, nor any clear signs that they had relocated elsewhere. The only thing out of the ordinary was that every radio and air fryer repeated the same message that was heard before the end of faltir over and over again.

CNN occupation

The Confederated Nations of Niueyjar (CNN), as Faltir's closest ally began occupying the abandoned island on 16-12 7 PC.

The CNN released a preliminary on the disappearance on 2-5 8 PC. The report suspected that the disappearance was magical in nature and due to a number of writing on the lightbulbs in UAE President Aer-Friar's home they suspect the Akasa played some role.
