Hwaskaalbian is an ethnolinguistic superfamily within western Deysachin, composed of the Laqkhawej, Tsaichurbi, Aculsameh, and Wisicjo. The idea that the four groups share a common ancestry goes back at least 600 years, and is generally accepted by scholars. Modern research suggests Hwaskaalbian to itself be a part of the larger Unoelpi hyperfamily.
