Isles of Endless Joy

Not to be confused with the Isles of Joy, a nation in the Brchipelago.

Isles of Endless Joy is the second book in the Nyis adventure series of Utlian novels written by Wyelf Nereset, it is also the first book to use the format that would become semi-standard for the series.

Plot

The crew of the Nyis spend some time bantering with the recently recruited Uwiexiuan before heading south east. The group encounter three islands in this entry, the first being an uninhabited rainforest populated by somewhat intelligent primates, the crew spends a few days here and rests before they leave and discover the primary island featured in this book. The crew are enamored with the second island (named Jebrey) and its constant circuses and fairs. The crew ends up split, Wyck himself ends up alone and gambling on a Brenya race, after winning a large amount he is kidnapped and the rest of the crew, who at this point are off on side adventures, must regroup and take him back while also discovering the secrets of Jebrey. After the Jebrey adventure the crew stops at the third "island", a small fishing village that floats on large docks in the open sea, here the crew rest and trade their loots from Jebrey.
