Living Press
The Living Press is the Kingdom of Akaria's state-run news provider.
History
Creation
The Living Press was established on 29-8, 1428 TT via Goghon's 1st Dictate so that Living King, Goghon Perat could turn the people of the Akarinian Confederation against the Andu Kur. The dictate set up printing presses across Akaria and within the year of its creation, the Living Press was the largest newspaper in Akaria. The press mostly published stories relating to the harsh treatment of Karinians within the Andu Kur, most of which were made up. Goghon Perat launched an invasion of the Andu Kur on 25-7 1425 TT with public support.
Bakoro production
Bartan Banokan became Living King on 29-3 1331. Shortly after he, with the help of several ossbosches began writting a 2nd Bakoro to serve as a unified description of Mirroi. Bartan's 7th Dictate was issued on 22-2 1328 TT handing over control of the Living Press to the ossbosches who were to use the press to create and distribute copies of the 2nd Bakoro.
Andu stuff
During the reign of Living King Umanay Deram (1103–1078 TT), the Living Press halted production of anti-Andu propaganda as Umanay intended to integrate the Andu into Akarian society. Anti-Andu propagand production resumed following Umanay's death and the election of Living King Bonoi Deram.
On 13-8 454 TT a deal was struck between the Living King and the Deram, in which the Deram would become the Kingom of Akaria's provider of most minerals. The Deram began the systematic enslavement of the Andu to run the new mines. The Living Press was used to justify the enslavement.
