Thuybnor's father was in fact Farru, who died shortly after conceiving him. Thuybnor, much like most of the priesthood, has a few screws loose due to the way he was raised. Part of this manifests as an oedipus complex, as shown by the fact that two of his known partners have the same name as his mother, and his sjehwaknan gf is very similar to Nozra in personality. In general, Thuybnor is weird about women, he persue relationships with them mostly to stroke his own ego, so he can fulfil his self image as a charismatic and loving man, while in truth being emotionally dominant and at times controlling. His relationship with Kayusula is the exeption to this, as in this case he ironically found himself to have fallen in love with her moreso than she with him. The rumors that they were romantic with one another were true, though they were not exclusive, and did definately still sleep around during their time together (especially Dagnon), if less than usual. Their coupling stood in contrast to their political leanings, as Sjehwakna was the one eastern province which stood against Thuybnor's ideas. This was a large part of why they broke up in 47/48 pc, with the political landscape changing and Thuybnor become even more self interested and egotistical, Kayusula found that she just couldnt stand the man anymore, and possibly never truly loved him (more on this on her meta page). This in turn made Thuybnor even more of an asshole.
His relationships with others are not much better. While relations with subordinates are not frowned upon in the priesthood, proper etiquette requires that it is the subordinate who initiates it, as a means to increase their standing, as opposed to the superior, who easily could make use of his position to exploit his subirdinates. Dagnon regularly flaunted this expectation. He also slept with the sisters and mothers of his political rivals, which isn't in contrast to any societal norm but it is a dick move.
Thuybnor treats the whole of his political life in a similar manner. It is debatable what things he says that he really believes, what things he says that are lies to other, and what things he says that are lies to himself. Thuybnor is egotistical and power hungry, but his desire for power and status are rooted in some sort of genine belief that what he is doing is right, and his ego is rooted in the belief, or the desire to believe, that he is a good person. His savior complex arrises out of a confluence of these traits, he sees himself as some sort of hero of Deysachin, and he has an almost compulsive desire to have others see him in this manner. His primary political tactic is luring opponants into a debate wherein he forces everyone to wholey side with or against him, showing people that they ultimately agree with him more than they disagree with him, forcing them to concede to him. He treats his allies as his brothers, but has a tendancy to use them as little more than backers.
Behind The Scenes
Where Modhesianism is the Attu equivalent to socialism, Thuybnor is the NazBol. His ideology is that of a nationalism of Deysachin, which is deeply strange because Deysachin isn't a nationstate, it is an explicitly antinationalistic universalist concept, it isnt even technically a state. Dagnon is important because he is the poster boy for what I call the second generation of deysachni, the ones who grew up post calming and knew of the outside world for their whole political careers. Thuybnor is an extreme contradiction in deysachin, but hes more sensible within the context of his time. The quedtion of his day was no longer the status of uldeysachwot, it was what the status of deysachin was within the world. Also, I just really liked the name.
