National Anthem of Wälstanland

Kual Non Hatherlanded or "Fear Not Fatherland" is the official anthem of the Empire of Wälstanland. It became popular during the rise of the Kingdom of Buorssia and the islands first reunification and was both popular as a military and patriotic song.

History

The songs origins can be traced back to 108 TT during the times of tensions that would lead to the Islands first reunification war and the islands domination by the Kingdom of Buorssia and the Buorssian people. It was written by Leni Beckenbauer, a duchess of Buorssian origin belonging to the royal House of Salxen from the modern Grand Duchy of Waldenosh. Its lyrics meant to inflict a patriotic feeling among listeners when the idea of a unified Walstan fatherland was becoming popular among urban intellectuals and citizens at the time. In 96 TT by decree of the National Diet of Walstanland it became the islands official national anthem.

Instrumentation

The anthem was originally meant to be played by both a professional military band and also sung as an anthem or tune by commonfolk. When performed professionally it is done by a variety of metal instruments and lacks the vocal sections of the tune and is thus done fully instrumentally.
