Biography
Early life
Nimbak Perat was born in the Pero Fortress in Perisken, within the Akarinian Confederation, on 29-9 1602 TT, during the reign of Karkon Deram. In the year of his birth, an arrangement was made that allowed the Living King's allies to have a say in his succession.
Nimbak's father Kumok Perat, Leader of the Perat, died on 2-7 1545 TT. Nimbak succeeded him three days later, after defeating his younger brother Homtok in a duel brought on by the right of blood. At the time of this, Kumok was designated to succeed Toghon Kakay as Living King. Under normal circumstances, a debate within the Todak Perikat would have taken place to determine his new successor. However, at the time Toghan was gravely ill and was not expected to last the duration of one of these debates. Instead, Nimbak was unanimously selected due to being Kumok's successor as Leader of the Perat. Toghon died on 11-12 1544 TT, and as planned Nimbak succeeded him.
Living King
At some point early in his reign as Living King Nimbak began writing the Bakoro, a compendium of Karinian religious and spiritual beliefs. The book was published on 22-6 1528 TT. The book and later versions of it would eventually become known as the most important text in Mirroi.
Nibak died on 29-5 1522 TT, he was succeeded as Leader of the Perat by his son Ikomot and as the Living King by Saymok Deram.
