Peasant News

From Attu Project

Peasant News is an anonymously-published satirical newspaper that claims to report on the day-to-day activities of regular people throughout the archipelagos.

History

There is scant evidence of when exactly the newspaper was founded. Current scholarly consensus suggests that the newspaper was founded at least a few months after the IgRS was established. It is unclear who established Peasant News, and it is also completely unknown to the public where the newspaper is written, printed, or distributed from. It is commonly speculated that the newspaper is a decentralised operation, with writers, printers, translators, and distributors stationed all over the world and using radio to internally communicate.

Content

Peasant News commonly publishes satirical accounts of day-to-day life. All articles in the newspaper are published anonymously.

Teen pregnancy rises due to presence of teenage boy who's a sick skater and can shred on guitar

In the small town of Venezia, near Donua, La Rossa, there is reportedly a steep rise in teen pregnancy as a result of the arrival of a skateboarding youth. Reports of the skater by girls in the coastal town describe him as "sick", meaning "cool", whereas the boy's parents describe his callousness and lack of safety as "sick", meaning "distrubing". There is video evidence of the lad's ability to shred on guitar. Umberto Umberto, the mayor of Venezia, is appalled by the punk's behaviour, stating: "a performance on guitar, regardless of quality, is no excuse for [the boy]'s lack of safety." Schools in Venezia are scheduled to hold assemblies on safe sex within the next week.
