History

The Yotumic Divisionary Federation (YDF) began construction of their first wood-fuelled power plant on 13-4 2 PC.

By 27-7 2 PC a sixth of Nongba had enough power to run indoor lighting. However, only 3% of homes were connected to the grids.

On 8-4 9 PC the YDF began investing in solar panel technology, diverting copper and labour to research and production with the goal of energy export to Spyron. The first factory was opened on 27-9 9 PC. The factory closed in 24 PC.

In 21 PC, the Tun'ilhameng Liberation Procedure attacked the main solar panel array, leaving 80% of industrial buildings and 99% of all homes without electricity. At the time 10% of Nongban homes were electrified. Despite promises, the electrical grid is not fully repaired.

As of 26 PC all YDF and DHM industrial buildings that need electricity use independent generators. Gansu province has a 40 MW generator supplied by the Eastern Bloc

Accidents

On 26-7, 2 PC a 28-year-old man fell into one of the water vats at a wood-fuelled and was boiled alive. A second man was boiled alive on 2-9 2 PC raising safety concerns about the energy sector.
