The Prophesy of Saint Mukului was a prophecy given by the late Saint Mukului, either on his deathbed or shortly before, stating the terms of his reincarnation. It has so far gone unfufilled.
Background
The concept of Saintly reincarnation, and saintly lineages, was first set by Ragi Noza, who died in childbirth and was reincarnated as her own daughter. Between that time and the death of Saint Mukului, the concept had been cemented and defined by Modhes Temple, and at least seven other Saintly lineages had been canonized, with all reincarnated saints raised as priests, save the Nz'radjine. Mukului was held in special status long prior, and it was a certaintity that he would be declared a saint in death. Despite this, Mukului shunned worship of himself, and was said by his followers to be aprehensive towards a
Prophesy
The Earliest record of the prophesy is a stone tablet in Tal'huziedd, supposedly copied directly from a transcription of his exact words, constructed ~20 years after his death. It reads as follows:
In my exit of this form, I shall not be reborn as clear in day, not in a life seen. I shall not be found again, to be put in holy garb to serve. My spirit is not one meant to serve as an administrator, for I am as common a man as any, and not at heart a thinker but an actor.
This is not that I will not serve, far from it. I shall be afar, in the places beyond the world, where the Deysachin has yet to be clear, in worlds unknown and unseen. I shall fight eternal, for what is right, as seen as my heart shall guide me. I shall serve alone, living and dying, unaware of my true cause.
But fret not, my kindred, for I will return in long time. Yes, when the hour of day draws close to its end as I do now, when the sun is near blotted out, when my blade is lost and my wills are broken, when all I have done here is broken at the heel, in a hundred years or a thousand, and the hand of God calls me back to this fray, I will be reborn on the earth, to do as is needed in Deysachin's time of want.
You will know me, for I will speak the myriad tongue. You will know me, for I will return here to the mountain, and break the wall-self-sought. You will know me, for I will best a giant with a feather. You will know me, for my hands, which you shall preserve will clench to fists before me. You will know me, for only once all these have been done, your one Lord will verify my soul.
When I walk again, it will be for great purpose. I will set things as they are ought to be, for better or worse. Remember, that blood which was spilled by hands and my blade. Remember, that those who bled were not always those who believed I was against them. Remember, that it is your act, not your will, which drives your soul upon the earth. Remember my kindred. Remember and wait.
