Record:Cok and Harakar Have Lunch

From Attu Project
Setting: Cok's courtyard. Cok's son has cooked a large meal for harakar and is serving it to Cok and Harakar.

Cok: Isn't my son great, he harvested these dandelions himself.

Harakar: I wish my children knew how to cook.

(Harakar looks both ways with his eyes.)

Cok: It's a very important skill for children.

Harakar: Should I have Lightning record this?

Cok: There's no point.

Harakar: Very well.

Cok: Don't unlock his cage just yet.

Harakar: Lightning, you must remain in your cage.

(Lightning tries to speak despite the tape over his mouth.)

(Harakar stretches his fingers.)

Cok: I just want to talk to you about the farmers you sent to me.

Harakar: Very well. I thought you just brought me here so you could pleasure Lightning.

(Harakar has a bite of his breaded dandelion.)

Cok: I think that there will be friction in Siô soon if they don't become independent.

(Harakar coughs violently.)

Harakar: Sorry. Might be allergic to dandelions. Guess that's another one on the list.

Cok: I plan on holding a plebiscite this year to determine whether Siô will remain or not.

Harakar: Goodness. Is that not a wee bit rash?

(Harakar begins to remove the harpoon strawn across his back.)

Cok: I've spoken to the governor of Sadila about this and chosen a prospective leader. I made this prospective leader promise to take good care of your farmers, but I can't guarantee their safety.

(Harakar looks as though deep in thought.)

Cok: Do you want me to let your farmers remain in Siô or relocate them to Opie only?

Harakar: It is probably best that we leave them be.

Cok: Alright.

Harakar: Best not give those in Sea-Oh more reason to leave.

(Harakar stands from his seat and walks to Lightning's cage.)

Cok: Thank you for considering. (Cok glares at Lightning.)

(Harakar opens the cage and removes the tape over Lightning's mouth.)

Harakar: Lightning, these dandelions do not sit well with me. I saw some dolphins on the way over, take this spear and fetch me one. (Harakar hands Lightning the harpoon.)

(Lightning leaves. Harakar turns his attention back to Cok.)

Harakar: What was it that you were saying?

(Cok's son starts crying.)

Cok: I have nothing else to add. I'm glad you are so understanding.

Harakar: (Announcing.) I do think I am allergic to these plants.

Cok: God bless your stay in Haute eee.

Harakar: We don't have them in Akaria.

(Harakar collapses.)

Cok: There's a walk-in just down the street. I'll escort you there.

(Harakar is unconscious. Cok mounts Harakar over his shoulder and carries him to the walk-in.)

(Harakar phases between life and death.)

(3 hours pass. Cok arrives at the walk-in.)

Cok: I guess they should call this a drag-in.

(Harakar's next of kin are contacted of Harakar's state.)

(A day passes. Harakar's state worsens.)

(Johnakar arrives.)

(Barakar arrives.)

(Harakar's children arrive.)

(Cok remains in his chair, flipping through the tv channels.)

(Lightning arrives with the corpse of a dolphin.)
