Shabdrung
A Shabdrung is a Modhes title which denotes the priestly head of state that lies politically but not religiously outside of the Modhes Temple Hirarchy. A state headed by a Shabdrung is called a Shabdrungate. Shabdrungs not to confused with Lamanes, a title which is similar in role. A Lamane however is an Ayatollah, whereas a Shabdrung is congruant to, but not neccisarily equal to, a High Priest.
Shabdrungs are still subserviant religiously to the Council of Archpriests, and are while they are politically independant they are not fully sovreign, as it is expected that any Shabdrungate will obey the demands of Deysachin, as Modhes law dictates that Shabdrungates are merely semiautonomous regions of Deysachin (though it should be noted that Modhes law also defines every independant state to be an autonomous region of Deysachin).
The title below a Shabdrung is either a Mandaetor or a Khoja, depending on whether or not the Shabdrungate is within a single diocese or multiple.
