Tšw haBêyâřâ (Hapšâw'l: sister number, pronounced /tʃʋ̯ hɑ.bɘ.jʌˈʀʌ/) is an irrational number used by mathematicians of Hapšâw. It is used to calculate the ratio of the length of an equilateral triangle's side to it's height, and as such is equal to ½√3. In writing it is usually substituted by it's abbreviation (ThB) which is oftentimes written as a ligature.

History
Bayn'l Řotân was the first person to include the number in his writings, in 102 TT he estimated it to be equal to ⁸⁄₉. 18 years later Têgâlhoy estimated it to be ²⁰⁄₂₃, which is largely still used to approximate the number.
