YDF pro-isolationist protests of 3 and 4 PC

On 3-1 2 PC the YDF made contact with the outside world, almost a year after the Grand Calming. Shortly after, the YDF discovered that they were technologically disadvantaged compared to the rest of the Attu Archipelago. On 19-12 2 PC the Akarian-Utlian Alliance began supplying the Refermors with military equipment to aid them in the Niueyjara Civil War. This sparked fears of invasion across Nongba.

Protests erupted in Yanha on 29-7 3 PC.

YDF Upper Congress member Yantka Lomin was assassinated on 23-11 4 PC by a pro-isolationist soldier of the YDFDF. Lomin was believed by members of the isolationist movement to have been responsible for vetoing attempts to close the borders. Following the assassination pro-isolationist protests continued to grow. On 30-11 4 PC the YDF Congress sided with the protesters and ordered borders closed, foreigners expelled and trade ended with the outside world.
