Harmak died on 24-9-1795 TT. After three days of mourning Ambat proclaimed himself leader of the Amarkens. With the Amarkens at the time was Ambat's second cousin [[Kadar]] of the [[Arkarans]]. He chalanged Ambat's claim to leadership of the Amarkens through the [[right of blood]]. The two engaged in a duel with Kadar emerging victorious and Ambat dead. |

Ambat was born around 1840 TT. Ambat's father Harmak was an important member of the Amarken Tribal Group. His mother Banik was from the Garvak Tribal Group.
