Though Ambot survived the ordeal his leg never fully recovered and was left with a permanent limp. Harmak was also wounded during the battle and suffered from an infection that left him infertile.

Ambat was a claimnant to the Amarken Tribal Group.

Biography

Early life

Ambat was born around 1840 TT. Ambat's father Harmak was an important member of the Amarken Tribal Group. His mother Banik was from the Garvak Tribal Group.

Ambat's father became the leader of the Amarken Tribal Group around 1831 TT.

Around 1823 TT Ambat's Tribal Group was attacked by the Andu Kur. During the attack one of the raiders struck Ambat's leg shattering it. Though Ambot survived the ordeal his leg never fully recovered and was left with a permanent limp. Harmak was also wounded during the battle and suffered from an infection that left him infertile.

Final days

Harmak died on 24-9-1795 TT. After three days of mourning Ambat proclaimed himself leader of the Amarkens. With the Amarkens at the time was Ambat's second cousin Kadar of the Arkarans. He chalanged Ambat's claim to leadership of the Amarkens through the right of blood. The two engaged in a duel with Kadar emerging victorious and Ambat dead.
