Sjehwakna Spire

The Sjehwakna Spire is a spire in Laimnoupaw. It is a popular tourist attraction.

History

Construction on the spire began in the Deysachni year -347, as the personal fortress of Peromudarasochact The Ruthful, one of several lavish spending projects he declared in his old age, and the only of which that was ever finished. Construction on the spire, at the time known as The Heavenpiercing Fang, ended in -321, during the reign of Sogaschanachog II. The spire was continually used on and off by the ruling powers of the region, and eventually came to be seen as a symbol of Laimnoupaw.

During the Modhesian Conquests, plans were made to fell the spire, which were near to completion by the time the armies arrived, only for Belagobaringuyt III to immediately surrender. The Spire was found to be unfit for use as an administratory building, and was converted to a public work. It is contemporarily used primarily as a museum.
